The Texting Write Up Trick.
While you are on premise, the “supervisor” or “scheduling agent” will text to make sure everything is going smoothly. They then, will proceed to ask, what is your availability for next week just in case more jobs open up. Also, how are you, your family are doing. As you keep replying on premise, they can screenshot these text messages and then write you up saying they have literal proof of you texting while on the job. A great way to avoid this is by simply texting back, “I would have to check my schedule once I’m not and shift and then I can get back to you. Thank you for being so considerate!” Please don’t fall into this trap. Sometimes the scheduling agents will seem super friendly but that’s not in their true colors. They want to weed out the weak.
